Below, a large, gentle firbolg druid (Toven) raises his staff and calls down a giant pillar of silver moonlight onto the dragon, which deflects it with a glowing shield labeled "LEGENDARY RESISTANCE." Gross-out cartoon comedy, not scary.
Out of glowing pits in the cracked earth, a crowd of pompous floating mind flayers rises, leading three enormous Star Spawn Hulks with tiny heads and massive fists. Two of the Hulks stand frozen with cartoon stars and spirals circling their heads (stunned), each with a "27!" floating above. A tiny kobold paladin (Haru, enlarged veiny skull) on a glowing armored mammoth (Stomper) and an enormous scarred warrior (Gemnar, glaive, red-stone gauntlet) face them down. Lava glows through the cracks. Big "uh oh, reinforcements" energy.
A violet psychic shockwave rings out from a mind flayer's tentacles, and a winged dragonborn with backward bird-legs (Kiet) drops from the sky, wings limp, cartoon X-eyes, plummeting from a huge height with a dotted line showing his fall from a "100 FT" marker. He lands face-first in a crater with an enormous "THUD!" while a little cartoon ghost skull labeled "DEATH SAVE: FAIL" floats out of the dust. The mind flayer looks extremely smug.

The climax. A battered dragonborn with backward bird-legs and black double-pupil eyes (Kiet), bandaged and smoking, with a tiny flickering "1 HP" heart over his head, sprints straight up the scaly back of the colossal High Master (dragon with a pulsing pink elder-brain head and tentacle crown) and leaps off the top with his blade raised for a huge downward slice. A giant "SLASH!" arcs across the frame. The High Master's eyes spin into cartoon swirls as it starts to topple. Below, an enormous scarred warrior (Gemnar) and a tiny kobold paladin (Haru) on a glowing mammoth (Stomper) look up with jaws dropped. Epic, triumphant, a little ridiculous.
Mop-up chaos on the edge of a glowing lava river. A dragonborn with backward bird-legs (Kiet) shoves two pompous mind flayers off the edge with a big "PUSH!", and they plop into the lava with "SIZZLE!" and cartoon steam. An enormous scarred warrior (Gemnar, glaive, red-stone gauntlet) swings his glaive through a mind flayer with a giant golden "CRIT!" A tiny kobold paladin (Haru, enlarged veiny skull) on a glowing armored mammoth (Stomper) flicks a sparkly star-shaped spell at a mind flayer controlling a confused Star Spawn Hulk, snapping a glowing control string between them. Behind them, the ground collapses into lava, swallowing the last mind flayers.

Nobody else is on the vulture or on the ice. Below them the empty ice stretches to the horizon, and a giant d20 tumbles behind them in the snow. Breezy road-trip energy.
Inside a cozy, candlelit tavern in the gothic city of Ludendorff, brighter and more cheerful now that the vampires are gone (a crossed-out vampire poster is pinned on the wall). Behind the bar, two grinning, scheming cousins count stacks of gold coins, with speech bubbles reading "500 gold…" and "700!" One cousin worriedly holds up a creepy parchment letter in dripping red ink from Edid. It reads "HA HA HA HA HA HAH HA HA HA" and is signed "love, Edid <3". At the bar sit a tiny kobold paladin (Haru), a green-blue dragonborn (Kiet), an enormous scarred warrior (Gemnar, silver gauntlet with red stones) squeezed onto a tiny stool, and a large, gentle firbolg druid (Toven) with a small grey rat (12) on his shoulder. Through the window, a glowing gemstone gateway shows little figures streaming out of it, away from a distant shining citadel.
In a towering, dusty library of Ludendorff, a very tall, lanky Warforged (Gordian), with a plated steel-and-wood body and a single glowing visor slit, slowly turns to face the party with a perfectly deadpan expression. A shimmering illusion bubble beside his head replays "CLEVER THINGS, CLEVER THINGS" on a loop. His tiny hummingbird-like construct homunculus zips past and snatches the rapier right out of the hand of a tiny kobold paladin (Haru), who is outraged. Behind them, a green-blue dragonborn (Kiet), an enormous scarred warrior (Gemnar, silver gauntlet with red stones), and a large, gentle firbolg druid (Toven) with a small grey rat (12) on his shoulder react, and a giant glowing golden banner bursts overhead: "LEVEL 12!" Celebratory Saturday morning cartoon finale.
