For my electronic intermedia class, i’m making a fairly unique bottled floor lamp of sorts – the plan has been to make it sound activated. It worked earlier today; we were stomping around messing with different musical instruments and being provided with a strange light show courtesy of my lamp!
Then things went downhill. Some wires crossed and a capacitor decided to explode. The picture below is of the aftermath. I spent this evening trying to mend things, but the whole thing just refuses to work. Thus, no dance-party noise-making light show. Regardless, open studios are on Friday and you should all come.
