A fantasy embassy ballroom glows with opulence. The party arrives in disguise using Alter Self—elegantly dressed, each person transformed. A massive laser-like crystal chandelier scatters magical light across the room like faerie fire. Invisible servants float plates and glasses through the crowd. Haru, dressed as a Lemordian informant, leads the way. In the crowd, Commissar Lee and Vissarion the Butcher of Lazka’s Brook are seen mingling ominously.

Inside an ornate embassy washroom, Kiet (a dragonborn warrior) is mid-transformation—throwing off formal clothes to reveal armor. With his Trident of Fish Command in hand, he magically compels one frog-like bullywug to bite another. Steam from enchanted faucets fills the room. Outside the cracked door, chaos brews.

A candlelit study filled with Tepestani artifacts and detailed maps. Boris (the harengon) stealthily rifles through documents while a wise old frog creature—wearing scholarly robes—watches in alarm. On the desk: a map of Tepest, a blueprint of the party’s bastion, and a glowing sword. The moment crackles with tension.

In the dim embassy basement, Sundr (the glowing aasimar sorcerer) casts a towering Wall of Fire, separating the party from chasing bullywugs. Behind the flames, Edid and Haru help free a prisoner. Kiet smashes at arcane prison locks with brute force. Blood-filled cauldrons connected by grooves glow ominously on the floor, powering a ritual.
