The party surfs down a roaring sewage current in ridiculous improvised ways:

Cows splash past in panic. Exaggerated speed lines and chaotic cartoon fun.
Tovin in giant moon-empowered toad form, glowing faintly with moonlight, holds Haru gently in his wide mouth (Haru visible and calm). The toad blinks in a flash of silver light — mid-Moonlight Step teleport — leaving sparkling afterimages behind. Sewer walls blur around them. Playful but epic magical vibe.
A massive skeletal minotaur blocks the tunnel ahead. Sundr hovers forward, hands raised, blasting radiant frost that encases the skeleton in shimmering golden ice. Kiet leaps mid-air with a glowing weapon, about to shatter it. Gemnar braces behind. The skeleton cracks dramatically. Bright magical glow against dark sewer stone.
Dozens of ghouls charge through narrow sewer corridors — and straight into a brilliant vertical column of moonlight. Tovin (back in firbolg form) concentrates intensely, staff raised. Gemnar physically throws a ghoul into the beam. Ghouls recoil and smoke under radiant light. Tactical teamwork, dynamic motion.
Inside the giant toad’s mouth, Haru sits comfortably between soft glowing cheeks, reading a scroll or calmly observing through slightly open jaws. Outside, chaos rages — ghouls clawing at the toad’s legs while moonlight glows. Comedic contrast between safety and battle.
A towering necrotic sludge elemental rises from the sewage — dripping, skeletal shapes half-visible inside it. Eyes glow sickly green. The party surrounds it:
Sundr blasting radiant light
Kiet slashing through muck
Gemnar pushing with brute force
Tovin glowing with primal magic
The sludge splashes violently.
The sludge elemental is being shoved toward a massive circular sewer grinding mechanism — giant rotating stone teeth beneath rushing water. Three large lever switches line the wall. Kiet strains while holding a portcullis open (clearly injured), Gemnar shoulder-checks the elemental, Sundr blasts radiant energy into it, Tovin pushes with wild shape strength. Dramatic industrial fantasy scene.
The party leaps together down a massive vertical drain shaft — falling past pipes and runoff channels — glowing moonlight and radiant energy lighting their descent. Below: shadowy shapes of ghouls gathering. Dynamic falling poses, cinematic cliffhanger angle from below looking up.
Wide cinematic reveal. Beneath Radiant Citadel’s glowing crystal foundations lies an enormous cavern packed with hundreds of ghouls feasting on cow carcasses.
